Mac Leod resorts are located on the Ceilidh Trail (Route 19), on the
western coast pf Cape Breton.
Entry A
Entering Cape Breton via Canso Causeway: As you enter Cape Breton
from the Canso Causeway, follow Route 19 heading north towards the village
of Inverness for approximately 1 hour. You will drive through the following
communities: Cregnish, Judique, Port Hood, Mabou and finally Inverness.
· Inverness Beach Village is located ½ km north of Inverness · Mac Leod
Inn is 5 km north of Inverness · Mac Leod's Beach and Campsite is 10
km north of Inverness.
Entry B
Entering Nova Scotia via New Brunswick. Continue on the Trans Canada
Highway Route 104 to the Canso Causeway, approximately 4 hours. You
will bypass the following communities: Amherst, Truro, New Glasgow,
and Antigonish. As you enter the Canso Causeway, please refer to Entry
A.
Entry C
Entering Nova Scotia via Halifax International Airport Take Highway
102 north towards Truro, approximately 45 minutes. At Truro, branch
onto the Trans Canada Highway Route 104 to Cape Breton, approximately
2 ½ hours. You will by-pass New Glasgow and Antigonish. As you enter
the Canso Causeway, please refer to Entry A.
